John has over 20 years of professional experience in the software industry, originally as a software developer and in later years in product management, marketing, and business development.

Prior to working with software solutions for the laboratory industry, John served in product management and business development for S1 Corp (NASDAQ: SONE), an Atlanta-based developer of online solutions for banking and other financial services.   John served as VP for SecureWare, the predecessor to S1 Corp and SFNB - the world's first Internet bank.

Well before the days of the web, John served as Senior Software Engineer and Product Engineering Manager for a Texas-based provider of factory automation systems.   John began working with UNIX in the late 70s, and did extensive kernel development for uNETix, which was featured on the cover of PC Magazine in 1983 as the first UNIX-like operating for the IBM PC.

John's current focus is web-based, database-driven applications for Joven Technology and its sister company Process One.
